Is it possible to predict the future?

Hello friends... I wish to know, is predicting future possible? There are lot of natural disasters and accidents, but everytime after the time of accident, there will be a group of people who will say that it is predicted already 500 years back that this is going to happen. But so far it is never informed before the incident.

i don't think it will be possible, we can project something but we can not predict anything.

There are number of calendars that predict the astronomical events and there are even calendars that predicts every sunset and sunrise at a particular location. These are predictions based on mathematics.

These information shows, how good our forefathers are in the field of physics, astronomy and maths....

You are right

But these predictions of astronomical events are just a matter or reality, observations and Calculations. It wouldn't be possible for one person to calculate without any calculators, but they would have spent lot of years to find it.

but what about prediction of one's future?

Re: Is it possible to predict the future?

I don’t think so, there’s only one creator that knows the happening; past, present, and future. If human has the ability, then the wars and other tragedy that occurred must have been at least avoided.

I'm skeptical about it,but since it comes to predict the future, then the Mayan prophecies should be mentioned. How to explain them?
