Do you believe in the theory of evolution?

I can accept that apes and us are somehow related. But I'm having trouble imagining the case for, for ex. humans & snakes. How does a single-cell evolve into a complex organism? How did that happen?

Forgive me if I sound ignorant. It's just that evolution is never taught in any schools here. Philippines is a very strong Christian country.

Philippines is a very strong Christian country but they're very open when it comes to discussing these kinds of things. And imagining the case for evolution of humans to snakes is something interesting and impossible.

I wouldn't say impossible. I'm saying that it's hard to imagine although you have to count the fact that the common ancestor of humans and snakes existed biliions of years ago, but the common ancestor of apes and humans were only millions. That is according to evolution theory.

although there are evidences (i can not deny that) of evolution, i still think God has created this world. maybe God has created the entire evolution process either directly or indirectly.

Some entries in the bible are mostly unbelievable IMHO.

I would believe that God created the universe but I never believed what the bible said about god creating humans asap, thats what some a** would say, I wouldn't buy it.

Yes I do. I believe that the evidence is quite compelling. It seems to provide reason for so many things before it that were mysterious. I believe there may be more forces at work than just evolution but it is certainly a very strong contributing factor for shaping life on earth.
