After the world wars, Defense has become an important matter of any country. Even though when a country is developed and fertile and wealthy, defense must be good, to protect it.
After the use of nuclear weapons, this has been a major part of a country. Considering the military power, which is the most powerful country in the world?

i guess right now, United States is the most powerful country in terms of having military equipments and defense power. i don't think anyone would argue here.

After the inventions of nuclear weapon, all countries are of same strength, using one missile with nuclear weapon will collapse an entire state of a country. So its about the mentality of the nation.
China stands more stronger with many supporting features like nature, landmass, manpower, technology etc.

Obviously United States still holds the crown; one sample of this was their fight against Afghanistan and the Al Qaeda terrorist. However, who will know that it might steal by some country because of the economic crisis they’re experiencing now.
